CFC is renamed Ambassador Croisières and expands its program to 2028

Compagnie Française de Croisières (CFC) is embarking on a new chapter as Ambassador Croisières, completing its integration with Ambassador Cruise Line. This rebranding coincides with an expanded program for 2028, which will see the return of some of the company's familiar destinations and the addition of new offerings in Europe and the Mediterranean.

CFC is renamed Ambassador Croisières and expands its program to 2028The new identity will not entail any changes to the offering that CFC has developed in the French market. Ambassador Croisières will continue to offer cruises with a distinctly French character, departures from French ports, and local operations geared towards both passengers and travel agencies.

“This evolution is fully aligned with CFC’s continuity, both at sea and on land, with the same ambition and the same teams at the helm,” says Maëlysse Pierrot-Guibourt, President of Ambassador Croisières. She also emphasizes that the French office will continue to play a central role in the company’s development and in its relationships with passengers, partners, and travel agencies.

The integration will allow the company to maintain the elements that have defined CFC's offering while leveraging Ambassador Cruise Line's capabilities and resources. Christian Verhounig, CEO of Ambassador Cruise Line, considers the rebranding a natural evolution of the integration process and notes that the goal is to consolidate Ambassador's position as one of Europe's leading cruise groups for travelers over 50.

Ambassador Croisières' activity will continue to focus on cruises in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, departing exclusively from the French ports of Dunkirk and Marseille. These itineraries are complemented by winter cruises in the Caribbean, operated aboard the Renaissance from Pointe-à-Pitre, a feature that has been part of the company's program since 2025.

The main highlight of this new phase will be the launch of the 2028 cruise program, which will soon go on sale. The program includes a return to destinations such as Norway, Iceland, and the Baltic, in addition to Greece, the Adriatic, Spain, and the Caribbean.

The calendar also incorporates new destinations and itineraries. Among them is Egypt, which will debut in the Ambassador Croisières program with a 14-night cruise between May 28 and June 11, 2028. The itinerary will include a two-day stop in Alexandria, from where passengers can visit the Pyramids of Giza.

Ireland will also feature prominently in the 2028 program, with an itinerary planned between July 16 and 24. The cruise will combine various points along the British and Irish coasts and will include stops in Cork, Dublin, Liverpool, and the Isles of Scilly.

The program will be completed with a new proposal for northern Europe between September 28 and October 4, 2028. The six-night cruise will allow you to discover southern Norway, including its capital, Oslo, as well as northern Denmark.

With this new program, Ambassador Croisières faces its new stage maintaining the positioning developed by CFC in France, while expanding the range of destinations and reinforcing the integration within Ambassador Cruise Line.
