Travelmarvel celebrates the first voyage of the Travelmarvel Sirius, marking the brand's return to one of the world's most iconic waterways.
Travelmarvel celebrated the inaugural voyage of its new riverboat last week, when passengers boarded the Travelmarvel Sirius for its first tour of Egypt's legendary Nile River.
The occasion marks the brand's long-awaited return to Egypt and the beginning of a new phase for its growing river cruise offering.
Designed specifically for Nile River cruises and conceived exclusively for Travelmarvel guests, the Travelmarvel Sirius blends contemporary comfort with design elements inspired by Egypt's rich history and culture. The ship offers leisurely journeys through one of history's great civilizations, with shore excursions led by Egyptologists who are trained and accredited tour directors.
In keeping with Travelmarvel's tradition of naming its ships after stars and constellations, Sirius takes its name from the brightest star in the night sky, in a reference to Egyptian history and astronomy.
With a capacity for 124 passengers in 62 cabins, the ship offers a more personalized cruise experience while maintaining the value for money that characterizes Travelmarvel. On board, travelers have access to several dining options, local entertainment dedicated to Egyptian culture, and a spacious sundeck with a swimming pool, perfect for admiring the ever-changing scenery of the Nile.
The season is now underway, and the first passengers have boarded the Sirius in Luxor, after beginning their journey in Cairo. During the inaugural voyage, travelers visited some of Egypt's most prominent archaeological sites, including the Temple of Karnak, the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, Abu Simbel, and the Temple of Philae.
Each itinerary has been designed for a relaxed pace, allowing passengers to immerse themselves in one of the world's most fascinating destinations. The program also includes a visit to the highly anticipated Grand Egyptian Museum, poised to become one of the world's greatest cultural openings.
