With Seabourn 's 2026 Alaska season concluding on September 18, the luxury cruise line is already looking ahead to the summer of 2027, when Seabourn Encore will return to Alaska and British Columbia between May and September. Guests can enhance their Alaskan journey with "The Denali Experience," an optional pre-cruise shore program designed to explore the state's interior.
Throughout the season, Seabourn Encore will offer 18 sailings ranging from seven to 15 days through Alaska and Canada’s Inside Passage, calling at 15 ports and two UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Wrangell-St. Elias and Glacier Bay National Parks. The itineraries combine iconic destinations with less-visited ports, remote waterways, and opportunities to discover Alaska from both its coast and its interior.
During the 2026 season, Seabourn Encore completed 18 cruises and visited 17 destinations, while more than 9,000 guests participated in Ventures by Seabourn excursions in Alaska. Travelers explored the region's glaciers, waterways, and coastal communities through immersive onshore experiences, destination-inspired dining, and guided kayak and Zodiac excursions led by Seabourn's expedition team.

The Denali Experience
The Denali Experience is an optional Seabourn Journey pre-cruise program that takes guests into the legendary Alaskan wilderness and the heart of Denali National Park and Preserve. This seven-night shore excursion complements Seabourn cruises with a deeper immersion into the Alaskan wilderness, bringing travelers closer to Denali National Park and Preserve through guided experiences, wildlife encounters, and scenic drives.
Available before southbound voyages from Juneau to Vancouver throughout the 2027 season, "The Denali Experience" begins in Anchorage with a scenic train ride inland. Highlights include flightseeing, offering aerial views of the glaciers and natural landscapes of Denali National Park and Preserve's more than six million acres; an exclusive wildlife encounter at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, located in the picturesque Portage Valley and home to bobcats, elk, grizzly bears, woodland bison, and other species; and a farewell dinner at Tracy's King Crab Shack, along the waterfront in downtown Juneau.
The Denali Experience includes hotel accommodation, daily meals, transportation, airport transfers, and assistance from expert guides.
Immersive exploration with Ventures by Seabourn
