Margaritaville at Sea's new Beachcomber will sail from Galveston starting in October 2027

Margaritaville at Sea is bringing its newest ship and signature island spirit to Texas with the Beachcomber, which will begin sailing from Galveston in October 2027. Four- to seven-night getaways will offer the most extensive and diverse itinerary programming in the region. These new itineraries are now available for booking, giving travelers the opportunity to be among the first to experience Margaritaville at Sea's newest ship from the Lone Star State.

Margaritaville at Sea's new Beachcomber will sail from Galveston starting in October 2027From quick getaways to longer Caribbean adventures, the Beachcomber will take Galveston passengers farther and offer more destinations than any other cruise line operating from this port. Its itinerary will include Aruba, Key West, Curaçao, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, Belize, Progreso, Roatán, Cozumel, Grand Bahama Island, and Bimini, plus Veracruz, Mexico—a particularly noteworthy addition to Galveston's cruise market.

“Texas knows how to have a good time, so bringing Margaritaville at Sea to Galveston is a natural fit,” said Christopher Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea. “With the Beachcomber, we’re offering our guests an extraordinary ship and more options for where to vacation, including destinations they simply can’t reach on other cruises from Galveston. It’s an opportunity to discover more places, go further, and make every getaway different—all while enjoying the Margaritaville lifestyle at sea.”

Destinations are just one part of the experience. The Beachcomber will bring the most comprehensive Margaritaville at Sea experience ever offered aboard a ship to Texas, featuring more than 15 new experiences created exclusively for the vessel, along with some of the most popular guest spots, such as 5 o'Clock Somewhere, Hemisphere Dancer, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and License to Chill, among others. Together, they will offer even more opportunities to enjoy a carefree escape and the relaxed hospitality that is at the heart of the Margaritaville lifestyle.

For a state that knows country music well, the Beachcomber will bring an extra dose of big stars to the Gulf. Same Boat, the world’s first artist-designed live music venue on board a ship, was created in collaboration with three-time GRAMMY Award winner Zac Brown to recreate the energy and atmosphere of a Zac Brown Band concert. Designed under the artist’s direction, this space will combine live performances with premium cocktails in an environment inspired by Brown’s musical influences and signature style, offering Texas passengers a place to enjoy a drink, a show, and relax during an evening of great live music.

Same Boat will also feature a specially curated lineup of top-tier artists, chosen specifically for the Texas market.

The arrival of the Beachcomber in Galveston will make the Margaritaville at Sea experience more accessible to millions of travelers from Texas and the Midwest, offering both first-timers and regular passengers a new way to enjoy their vacations from one of the nation's premier cruise ports.
