Silversea presents its 2028-2029 travel collection

Silversea has unveiled its 2028-2029 Travel Collection, which includes the most extensive Mediterranean expedition program in its history, the inaugural season of the Silver Nova in Northern Europe, and a 60-day Grand Mediterranean Voyage aboard the Silver Dawn, among other new offerings.

Silversea presents its 2028-2029 travel collectionThe collection includes 278 cruises departing between March 2028 and March 2029, visiting 497 destinations in 71 countries, incorporating more than 120 new or restored ports of call, in both classic and expedition itineraries.

General sales will begin on July 9, 2026.

“Our new 2028-2029 Travel Collection reflects what Silversea does best: taking our guests beyond expectations, to destinations and cultural experiences that allow them to discover the world in unexpected ways,” said Bert Hernandez, Chairman of Silversea.

“From Mediterranean expeditions to an enhanced Fly Cruise program to Antarctica and the 60-day Grand Voyage through the Mediterranean aboard the Silver Dawn, this collection offers a unique proposition of destination experiences that only Silversea can provide.”

Under the motto “Let the World Surprise You”, the collection is based on a simple idea: the most exclusive luxury is still the ability to surprise.

The itineraries have been designed to coincide with seasonal phenomena, cultural events, and destinations that few ships can access. Many have been scheduled to coincide with events such as the Monaco Grand Prix, the traditional Japanese Matsuri festivals, and the grape harvest on the European Atlantic coast, among others, and include longer stays in port, evening excursions, and more than 50 overnight stops.

Main new features of the 2028-2029 collection

  • Silversea's most extensive Mediterranean expedition program ever, with new itineraries aboard the Silver Wind through the Adriatic, the Greek islands and North Africa.
  • An enhanced Fly Cruise to Antarctica program, starting in Patagonia with a stay at The Cormorant at 55 South, the southernmost hotel on the planet, before a direct private charter flight to the Antarctic continent.
  • The Great Mediterranean Voyage 2028, a 60-day autumn itinerary aboard the Silver Dawn, departing on September 23, 2028, will visit 50 destinations in 13 countries.
  • The Silver Nova's first season in Northern Europe, sailing through Norway's World Heritage fjords alongside the Silver Spirit.
  • The Silver Spirit's inaugural season in Canada and New England, with extended stops in Quebec, Halifax, and Boston.

Silversea's largest Mediterranean expedition program

The company will launch its most extensive expedition program in the Mediterranean aboard the Silver Wind.

Highlights include the volcanic coasts of Milos, Amorgos and Folegandros in the Greek islands; Algiers and Bejaia in Algeria; the island of Pantelleria off the coast of Sicily; or a rare river cruise along the Guadalquivir River to Seville.

The 2028-2029 expedition program will also include the Arctic, Greenland, Antarctica, the British Isles, Polynesia, Galapagos and other remote regions, always accompanied by Silversea's expedition specialists.

In addition, the Silver Endeavour will debut a new expedition program in the Baltic Sea, exploring Finland and Sweden.

Antarctica: the experience begins with how you get there

Silversea will continue to reinvent its innovative Antarctica Fly Cruise program.

The journey will begin in Patagonia with a stay at The Cormorant at 55 South, Silversea's hotel in Puerto Williams, Chile, and the southernmost hotel in the world. From there, passengers will board a private charter flight directly to Antarctica.

This format allows you to avoid the Drake Passage and go directly to King George Island, increasing comfort and immersion from the start of the trip.

The season includes 41 Antarctic cruises aboard Silver Cloud, Silver Endeavour and Silver Wind, including special voyages during Christmas and New Year's.

Exclusive access to some of the world's most important cultural events

The classic 2028 cruises have been designed to coincide with some of the major cultural and seasonal events.

Thanks to the small size of its ships, Silversea can directly access small ports such as Sète, Monopoli or Saint-Tropez, with long stays and overnight stays that allow you to fully enjoy each destination.

Five ships will operate in the Mediterranean alone: Silver Ray, Silver Nova, Silver Dawn, Silver Spirit, and Silver Shadow.

– Monaco Grand Prix. In 2028 and 2029, the Silver Ray will allow you to experience Monaco Grand Prix week from the Principality's iconic port.

– Matsuri Festivals of Japan. The Silver Whisper will visit Japan during the traditional festival season, coinciding with Gion Matsuri in Kyoto; Nebuta Matsuri in Aomori; Yosakoi Festival in Kochi; Awa Odori in Tokushima; and Midsummer Festivals in Scandinavia

The itineraries through northern Europe will coincide with the traditional Midsommar celebrations, marked by outdoor gatherings, folk music and the phenomenon of the midnight sun.

The Silver Nova will travel along the coasts of Spain, Portugal and northern France during the grape harvest season, with gastronomic experiences from the SALT program focused on wineries, local producers and culinary traditions.

Silver Nova and Silver Ray: a new way to discover Europe

The Silver Nova and Silver Ray will lead the European programming for 2028-2029.

The season will mark the Silver Nova's debut in Northern Europe, sailing through Norway's World Heritage Fjords, including Geiranger and Flåm, along with Baltic itineraries that will include Sweden and Finland.

For its part, the Silver Ray will operate the special Monaco Grand Prix cruise, in addition to various itineraries around the eastern Mediterranean, the Adriatic and the Greek islands.

Great Mediterranean Trip 2028

The Silver Dawn will headline the Great Mediterranean Voyage 2028, a 60-day autumn cruise that will visit more than 40 destinations in Greece, Croatia, Italy, the Adriatic and the Iberian Peninsula.

Ports of call include Istanbul, Dubrovnik, Amalfi, Menton (France), Naxos (Greece), and Roses (Catalonia). Passengers will also enjoy exclusive events, such as a private evening on Yiasemi Street in Athens, organized exclusively for Silversea guests, as well as a special Pope-related experience in Rome during an overnight stop in October 2028.

A deeper immersion in destinations, also through gastronomy

The SALT (Sea And Land Taste) gastronomic program will continue to be one of the main protagonists of the 2028-2029 collection, incorporating new culinary experiences in Japan and the Caribbean.

Silversea's land-based programs will also offer extensions before, during, and after the cruise, designed for small groups and led by local experts.

Silversea presents its 2028-2029 travel collectionAmong the new features are:

  • A three-night stay in Finland, focusing on sauna culture, coastal landscapes, and local cuisine.
  • A private three-night stay at a Seychelles resort for travelers whose cruises begin in Mahé.
