Lee Haslett, commercial director of Celestyal, will leave his position at the cruise company to take up a senior commercial management role at one of the world's leading sports organizations.
Since joining Celestyal in 2023, Haslett has played a pivotal role in the shipping company's commercial transformation, leading the global commercial strategy in areas such as revenue management, sales, marketing, strategic alliances and distribution.
Chris Theophilides, CEO of Celestyal, stated: “Over the past three and a half years, Lee has made a very significant contribution to Celestyal’s transformation process, and I want to thank him for everything he has brought to the company. His leadership, business acumen, and constant focus on growth have helped strengthen our sales organization, which now has a strong team ready to continue driving business success.”
During his time at Celestyal, the company has revamped its brand, added two new ships to its fleet, and expanded its itineraries beyond Greece. We congratulate Lee on this exciting opportunity and wish him every success in this new chapter of his career.”.
Lee Haslett commented: “It has been a true privilege to be part of Celestyal’s journey over the past three and a half years. I am incredibly proud of everything we have achieved together and very grateful to Chris, the management team, and all my colleagues for their support, friendship, and ambition.”
Although it was a difficult decision, the opportunity to join a world-renowned sports institution at such an exciting time in its development was one I couldn't pass up. I leave with enormous confidence in Celestyal's future and will follow its future successes with great interest.
Haslett will remain at Celestyal until October 2026 to ensure a smooth transition and support the continuity of the company's key strategic initiatives. Meanwhile, the selection process for her successor is already underway.
