Crystal Serenity will enter dry dock this October to renovate suites and public spacesThe renovation will include a complete refurbishment of the living areas and bathrooms in the Aquamarine Classic suites, located on Deck 10. While the current layout and spacious bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers will be retained, the suites will feature new furnishings in line with the design style introduced during the ship's transformation in 2023. Additionally, the corridors on Deck 10 will receive new carpeting and wall coverings.

In addition to the suite upgrades, several public spaces will be updated to improve the onboard atmosphere:

  • New Pool Bar: Located on deck 12, in the central area of the ship, this new bar will allow for faster and more efficient service in the Seahorse Pool area. Its operating hours will be adapted to each itinerary and weather conditions.
  • Atrium and Crystal Cove: The ship's main gathering place will be redesigned with a more modern and fluid layout, as well as new seating. Highlights include a new marble dance floor, a new stage for live performances, and a De Castelli mosaic, inspired by the one installed on the Crystal Symphony during its 2025 refurbishment. The reception area will feature a new counter with a marble countertop and backlit panel, while walls and columns will be redecorated with new finishes and mosaic details.
  • Waterside Restaurant: Renovation of service stations for waiters and reupholstering of chairs.
  • Stardust Club: This iconic space will incorporate new tables and chandeliers.
  • Seahorse Pool: New furniture will be added to the areas around the pool.
  • Marketplace: The popular breakfast and lunch space will feature new, refurbished chairs.

“Following the successful drydock of Crystal Symphony, our work aboard Crystal Serenity is primarily driven by the guest experience,” said Bernie Leypold, senior vice president of Hotel Operations at Crystal. “These enhancements reflect our commitment to creating memorable experiences in every detail, ensuring that Crystal Serenity remains as welcoming and enriching as the journeys themselves.”.

Alongside the renovations visible to guests, the Crystal Serenity will also incorporate a series of technical improvements aimed at optimizing performance, efficiency, and environmental sustainability.

The planned work includes improvements to the propulsion system to reinforce the ship's operational reliability, a complete overhaul of the stabilizers to ensure comfort while sailing, cleaning and repainting of the hull, as well as electrical and automation upgrades to modernize the onboard systems.

In addition, new sound and entertainment systems will be installed in the ship's main public areas. All of these improvements aim to maintain the highest operating standards while contributing to reduced fuel and water consumption, lower emissions, and minimize environmental impact.

The Crystal Serenity is scheduled to resume operations on November 8, 2026, with a 15-day transatlantic cruise between Lisbon and Fort Lauderdale, where it will subsequently begin its Caribbean season.
