MSC Cruises made a splash at the 2026 FORMULA 1® CRYPTO.COM GRAND PRIX, unveiling an all-new MSC Yacht Club experience during race weekend.
Combining the worlds of cruising and motorsport, the MSC Yacht Club materialized as a multi-level structure that redefined the trackside experience for guests. Located along turns 5 to 9, the facility offered fans views of up to five corners, creating a unique experience on the Formula 1® calendar.
Inspired by the award-winning concept on board MSC Yacht Club, “a yacht within a ship”, this experience brought MSC Cruises’ most exclusive offering into an immersive and vibrant racing environment.
MSC Yacht Club is available on board the entire MSC Cruises fleet and offers exclusive magnetic card access to a wide range of private facilities, 24-hour butler and concierge services, spacious and elegantly decorated suites, an exclusive restaurant, a lounge, a private terrace with jacuzzis, a grill restaurant and a bar, all within easy reach of everything the rest of the ship has to offer.
Inspired by the exclusive MSC Yacht Club available on board MSC Cruises ships, this proposal took the brand's renowned "yacht within a ship" concept and created a unique race weekend experience
Alberto Revelli, Director of Sports Sponsorships at MSC Cruises, said: “We are incredibly proud to bring our iconic MSC Yacht Club concept from the sea to the track at the FORMULA 1® CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX, one of the most watched and anticipated races of the season.
Renowned for its exceptional level of personalized service and exclusivity, MSC Yacht Club is one of our most acclaimed offerings, and we are reimagining it as a bold and unique hospitality destination for race weekend. This stunning and realistic 15-meter superyacht will place guests at the heart of the action, offering some of the best views – a further demonstration of how our collaboration with the world of motorsport continues to grow ever stronger since we became a global partner of Formula 1® in 2022.”.
This facility, which will remain in place for several years, represents the most significant debut in the field of hospitality at the Miami Grand Prix since 2023, with a length of 80 meters and a width of 29 meters.
The structure evokes the elegance of a superyacht, with spaces that feature multiple observation decks, outdoor terraces, refined lounges, shaded relaxation areas and swimming pools.
One of the large areas of this structure, the Marina area, presented by MSC Cruises, also incorporated a new viewing platform for the general public inside Turn 7, allowing attendees to experience the thrill of watching Formula 1® single-seaters competing on one of the most demanding corners of the circuit.
Anchored this weekend at the revamped Miami International Speedway Marina, this striking multi-level structure is the first of its kind and offers world-class hospitality with panoramic views of turns 5-9 from the edge of the track
Guests could relax in reserved areas overlooking the runway or explore the MSC Yacht Club common areas, which feature exclusive MSC Yacht Club towels and the Med by MSC fragrance found on board.
On each deck of the structure, attendees found top-notch experiences and a luxury offering that included:
- The Marina Deck – an exclusive area reserved for cabin guests, offering nine private cabins designed for groups seeking space, comfort and a more intimate race weekend experience, with exclusive seating and a relaxed lounge atmosphere just steps from the track.
- Deck 1 – a lively outdoor space to relax and recharge, featuring a stunning fountain, comfortable seating for all passengers and panoramic views of the race.
- Deck 2 – the heart of the MSC Yacht Club, offering reserved seating with convenient access to the onboard restaurants throughout the race weekend. The dining experience will include all-day hospitality service and a reservation-only Chef's Table experience, curated by Bagatelle, for attendees seeking a more intimate culinary experience.
- Deck 3 – home to the Jack Daniel's Lounge, this deck will offer a full-service bar and custom-made cocktails for sale. Deck 3 also offers reserved seating, as well as elevated views of the deck.
- Captain's Deck – the best vantage point, with 360-degree panoramic views of the track and surrounding area. This private, elevated space offers a privileged view of the action on the track.
MSC Cruises plays a prominent role in the Formula 1® calendar and, this season, will be the proud title sponsor of three Grand Prix races of the 2026 Formula 1® World Championship: in Austin (USA), Barcelona (Spain) and São Paulo (Brazil).
