Hurtigruten expands its tour portfolio with the launch of Grand Nordic Adventure, Nordic Winter Journey and a new Norway's Capital and Coast tour, plus multiple package add-ons to support its extensive travel offering.
Hurtigruten is expanding its successful portfolio of tours with the launch of three new trips.
The first, Grand Nordic Adventure, is a 19-day land and sea adventure that travels through Norway, Finland, and, for the first time, Iceland. The first guided tour will begin this July, departing from Helsinki, and will include a train journey through Finland, a stay at the Santa Claus Hotel, husky sledding excursions, and activities to meet the indigenous Sami people. The itinerary also includes a six-day cruise aboard the Hurtigruten Coastal Express southbound, from Kirkenes to Bergen, before flying to Iceland.
Among the main attractions in Iceland are Reykjavik, the Blue Lagoon, impressive waterfalls and Þingvellir National Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The second new tour, Nordic Winter Journey, begins in remote Finnish Lapland, where travelers will have their first opportunity to see the Northern Lights, staying at a secluded resort camp. The program also includes winter adventures in Finland, such as snowmobile tours, snowshoeing, and sleigh rides through Arctic landscapes.
This 13-day guided tour also explores Sami heritage, visits Inari and the SIIDA Museum, sails through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Nærøyfjord, and includes a ride on the famous Flåm Railway, plus the full Hurtigruten Coastal Express cruise southbound.
The new Norway's Capital and Coast tour , available only in summer, combines the enchanting Norwegian capital, Oslo, with a six-day Hurtigruten Coastal Express cruise southbound from Kirkenes to Bergen, and includes numerous UNESCO-recognized natural and cultural treasures. Several of Norway's eight World Heritage Sites are visited along the route.

◉ Savor the Lights – A premium version focused on the Northern Lights aboard Hurtigruten's all-inclusive Signature concept. In addition to the train journey through Finland, it includes an icebreaker experience, a stay in a glass villa in Finnish Lapland, a husky excursion to search for the Northern Lights, and the North Cape Line. Available as a 15-day trip from Helsinki to Oslo or a 14-day trip from Oslo to Helsinki.
◉ Follow the Midnight Sun – A 15-day escorted tour starting in Stockholm and exploring the main attractions of one of Europe's most beautiful capitals, including a ferry to Helsinki and continuing by train through Finland to Finnish Lapland, with husky excursions and encounters with Sami culture, before crossing into Norway, visiting the Snowhotel and boarding the Coastal Express southbound.
