Norwegian Cruise Line has unveiled its schedule for winter 2027/28 and the return of the popular Free at Sea Plus™ package, which offers even more unlimited amenities, including premium beverages, streaming Wi-Fi, Starbucks® and much more.
With more than 370 trips, the new season promises sunny getaways, culturally enriching adventures and maximum freedom and flexibility to design a personalized holiday experience, both on board and on land.
Between September 2027 and April 2028, guests can choose itineraries ranging from two to 22 days, with stops in 144 unique destinations across 47 countries. With a strong focus on the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Bermuda, the Mexican Riviera, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, this program offers unparalleled opportunities for discovery. Designed for deeper exploration, it includes an average of 9.5 hours in port, 71 late departures from 31 different ports, and 70 overnight stops, allowing guests to experience each destination more fully.

For the first time in the cruise line’s history, two of NCL’s newest ships will be homeported in San Juan, Puerto Rico, offering weekly cruises to the Southern Caribbean, each with a distinct itinerary. From November 13, 2027, to April 22, 2028, Norwegian Prima® will operate Saturday departures with seven-day itineraries visiting Road Town (Tortola), British Virgin Islands; Philipsburg (St. Maarten); Bridgetown (Barbados); Castries (St. Lucia); Basseterre (St. Kitts and Nevis); and St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands). Complementing these routes, Norwegian Viva will offer Sunday departures from November 14, 2027, to January 23, 2028, with more southerly seven-day itineraries that include stops in Aruba and Curaçao.
With seven ships sailing from homeports in Florida, guests can choose from a wide variety of itineraries to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and the Panama Canal. Many of these include a stop at Great Stirrup Cay, NCL's private Bahamas destination, which will feature significant upgrades such as a new pier, a large heated pool, and the Great Tides Water Park.
From Miami, Norwegian Joy®, Norwegian Jewel®, and Norwegian Luna™ will offer everything from short getaways to the Bahamas to longer voyages through the Caribbean and the Panama Canal. From Port Canaveral (Orlando), Norwegian Aqua®, Norwegian Breakaway®, and Norwegian Epic® will further expand the options, while Norwegian Dawn® will return to Jacksonville for its second season.
– After resuming operations from the Port of Philadelphia in April 2026, NCL maintains its commitment to this homeport with Norwegian Pearl®, which will offer five- to 12-day itineraries to Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the Eastern and Southern Caribbean between October 2027 and April 2028.
The program also includes routes through the Western Caribbean from Galveston and New Orleans, trips along the Mexican Riviera from Los Angeles aboard the Norwegian Encore®, cultural itineraries through Japan and Southeast Asia with the Norwegian Jade®, and extended voyages to Australia and New Zealand with the Norwegian Spirit®, reinforcing NCL's presence in these key regions.
The return of Free at Sea Plus
Free at Sea Plus takes the popular Free at Sea™ program to the next level, including unlimited Starbucks® beverages, streaming Wi-Fi, wines and champagne from NCL’s exclusive collection, bottled water, and 50% off specialty restaurant service charges. Guests will also enjoy unlimited open bar access at Great Stirrup Cay. Starting December 18, 2025, Free at Sea Plus will be available for departures beginning February 1, 2026.
