Scenic Group presents the Scenic Ikon , which will join the Scenic Discovery Yacht Fleet expedition yachts for its inaugural season starting in April 2028.
The Scenic Ikon will offer a unique combination of design, culinary excellence and hospitality for up to 270 guests in an ultra-luxury all-inclusive environment, the hallmarks of all Scenic Discovery Yachts.
The expedition yacht has been specifically designed to excel in both polar regions and warm-water destinations. Featuring cutting-edge engineering and Polar Code 6 and Ice Class 1A Super ratings with a reinforced hull, it will be exceptionally versatile. To deliver the ultimate discovery experience, the Scenic Ikon will be equipped with two Airbus helicopters, a custom-designed Triton AVA submersible, Zodiacs, and luxurious Fassmer superyacht-style tenders

Construction of the Scenic Ikon is progressing well, following the steel-cutting ceremony in February, attended by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, and the keel-laying in May 2025. The yacht remains on schedule for delivery at the end of 2027, before final trials and commissioning. A limited number of suites are already available at pre-sale prices.
Scenic Ikon inaugural season
The Scenic Ikon will set sail from Venice in April 2028, and its maiden voyage is almost sold out, with the following departures: The inaugural season will run until March 2029 and will include 110 ports, 21 countries, and 26 new destinations. It will cover the Mediterranean, the Aegean and Egypt, the Cape Verde Islands, the vibrant city of Dakar, the wonders of Antarctica, the Falkland Islands, and the Chilean fjords.
Guests will be welcomed into luxuriously appointed suites, with 15 distinctive dining spaces, spacious lounges, and vibrant relaxation areas. The Senses Rejuvenation Spa, a two-level, 1,700-square-meter wellness oasis, will offer exclusive therapies, hydrotherapy, and thermal experiences, along with world-class fitness options. Each voyage will also include all-inclusive immersive excursions, exclusive events, and onboard entertainment.
Discovery and iconic helicopter experiences
The Scenic Ikon 's helicopter program will reach extraordinary new heights. Guests who take advantage of Super Earlybird fares will enjoy a complimentary flight, further enhancing the truly all-inclusive experience.
Exclusive helicopter landings have been announced at renowned golf courses, famous local restaurants, and historic cultural sites, in addition to access to some of the world's most remote and breathtaking natural regions.
