MSC Cruises has opened sales today for its 2027 Alaska summer itineraries. Starting April 26, 2027, MSC Poesia will be based in Seattle and will offer seven-night itineraries departing every Monday through September 2027.
The MSC Poesia will undergo one of the most extensive renovations in MSC Cruises history, including the addition of the MSC Yacht Club, two specialty restaurants, Butcher's Cut and Kaito Sushi Bar; an All-Stars Sports Bar; upgrades to the MSC Aurea Spa, with a wide range of wellness options including steam rooms, a salt room, and more; and an enhanced MSC Gym with workout areas, a yoga studio, Technogym® equipment, a jogging track, and basketball and tennis courts. Passengers traveling aboard the MSC Poesia will be able to enjoy these new features during MSC Cruises' inaugural Alaska season, which begins in May 2026 and continues through the ship's second season in the region, with sales opening today for summer 2027.

MSC Poesia 's Alaska itineraries will offer passengers the opportunity to explore some of the region's most picturesque destinations, including Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Tracy Arm and Juneau (Alaska), along with Victoria (British Columbia, Canada), where they can enjoy breathtaking natural beauty, spectacular landscapes, magnificent wildlife and the rich cultural heritage of Alaska Natives.
At each port of call, MSC Cruises will offer a wide range of excursions to suit all types of travelers, from tastings of local culinary delights to explorations of remote wilderness areas or boat trips on calm waters in search of exceptional wildlife.
On board, passengers will enjoy the signature MSC Cruises cruise experience, which combines European style with American comfort, as they sail through the region's magnificent canals, filled with captivating natural wonders.
Prior to its 2027 summer season in Alaska, MSC Poesia will sail from Miami to Seattle on an 18-night cruise departing on April 8, 2027. This cruise will provide passengers with an unforgettable experience, as it will include a transit through the Panama Canal, an exceptional opportunity for adventure-seeking travelers.

- Ketchikan, Alaska – Alaska's premier fishing town offers excellent opportunities to fish for or eat wild salmon, as well as to observe the abundant bald eagle population. Historic Creek Street is lined with an eclectic mix of shops, featuring a wealth of local artists and artisans. Ketchikan is also known for its impressive displays of authentic totem poles dating back to the 19th century.
- Icy Strait Point, Alaska – Alaska’s first Native-owned cruise destination is nestled amidst over 60 miles of private beach and temperate rainforest, about a mile from Hoonah, Alaska’s largest Tlingit village. It features the world’s longest zipline, Southeast Alaska’s most accessible coastal grizzly bear viewing platforms, whale watching, fishing, local cultural dances and storytelling, cooking classes, kayaking, and much more.
