Storyland Studios, a global company dedicated to the design of destinations and experiences, has announced its collaboration with MSC Cruises and the MSC Foundation to design a new landmark building at the Ocean Cay Marine Reserve Marine Conservation Center in the Bahamas.
Opened in April of this year, the center is a space dedicated to biologists, scientists, students, and visitors to the island. It features interactive pavilions, a conference room, a biological laboratory, and a land-based coral nursery. In addition, it offers visitors educational opportunities about the importance of the marine ecosystem and the critical need to protect coral reefs, while also serving as the hub of the MSC Foundation's Super Coral Programme.
The new pavilion will enhance the visitor experience as a global hub for the MSC Foundation's mission to protect and care for the blue planet. Storyland Studios will apply its design expertise to create a facility that inspires visitors, donors, and partners to engage in marine conservation, transforming complex scientific work into engaging and accessible experiences.
