Responding to the growing demand for river cruises among Spanish-speaking travelers, AmaWaterways today announced three new dates for its popular “Latin Touch” cruises in 2026.
These departures offer the company's most iconic river itineraries, but with a focus on the Spanish language and a special program that celebrates Latin culture.
The 2026 departures include:
- Melodies of the Danube (June 21-28)
- Wonders of Colombia (October 21-28)
- Magic of Colombia (from October 31 to November 7)

All Latin Touch cruises feature a Spanish-speaking Cruise Director, guided tours in Spanish at every port, daily programs and menus in Spanish, as well as onboard entertainment and events that highlight Latin culture.
On the Melodies of the Danube itinerary, sailing from Budapest to Vilshofen aboard the new ship AmaSofia (2026), guests will enjoy two nights of performances inspired by Latin culture. Across the Atlantic, the AmaMelodia and AmaMagdalena ships will bring the Magic and Wonders of Colombia to life, sailing between Cartagena and Barranquilla with a special themed party that captures the energy and joy of Latin America.

On the Danube, guests can discover the history and architecture of Budapest, Vienna, and Bratislava through guided tours, bike rides, and hiking trails, including highlights such as the Buda Castle walk in Budapest or a food tour of Bratislava.
In Colombia, travelers will immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of the Magdalena River, with excursions that include visits to villages in Sitio Nuevo, nature tours in Magangué, and a visit to Mompox, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
