Viva Cruises is expanding its fleet with the new Viva Unique, the second ship in its Viva Boutique Collection, scheduled to debut in 2027, following the launch of Viva Beyond in 2026. With a focus on carefully curated experiences that celebrate Italy's cultural and culinary heritage, Viva Unique promises to offer a new vision of the boutique river cruise: sophisticated, experiential, and designed to captivate a new generation of travelers.
The ship's themed itineraries, focused on culinary exploration, art, culture, and lifestyle, invite guests to discover the authentic spirit of Italy with access to hidden gems and less-visited ports. From the vibrant lagoon islands of Mazzorbo and Burano to the historic heart of Chioggia or the picturesque countryside surrounding Polesella, each voyage combines discovery and comfort. Optional excursions to destinations such as Murano, Torcello, Verona, and Bologna complement the experience, along with free time to explore Venice at your own pace. Itineraries to Cremona and nearby Mantua, renowned for their historic architecture and musical heritage, are also included.

At Viva Unique, guests can enjoy three exclusive restaurants: MOMENTS, an Italian-inspired fine dining restaurant; Viva's Trattoria, with Mediterranean dishes in a relaxed atmosphere; and Riverside, the main restaurant, which combines international gourmet cuisine with regional specialties, accompanied by panoramic views of the riverbank.
Comfort continues in the cabins, where more than half will be suites, just like on Viva Beyond. Among them are the new Unique Suites, with up to 30 square meters of space.
The ship will also feature a large wellness area, a modern gym, and a sundeck with a swimming pool offering panoramic views of the Venetian Lagoon and the picturesque villages along the Po River.
Guests can enjoy personalized services according to their cabin category: Twin Cabins and Junior Suites, with a welcome gift from VIVA Boutique, a themed excursion and free laundry service; suites with priority boarding, a complimentary aperitif and transfers from Venice airport; and unique suites, with breakfast in the suite, seasonal culinary delights, priority reservations at the restaurants, an exclusive Unique Suite experience and an aperitif with the captain and the hotel manager.
All itineraries will include the flagship Viva All-Inclusive package, which includes full board, afternoon tea, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, minibar, beauty products, Wi-Fi, and gratuities. Bookings for Viva Unique's 2027 itineraries are now available on their website.
