Global Ports Holding (GPH) announces a leadership transition with the appointment of Francesc Grau i Comellas as GPH Regional Director for the Western Mediterranean and Managing Director of Barcelona Cruise Port, effective from July 25, 2025, following the departure of Javier Rodríguez Sánchez.
Francesc has been a key member of the Creuers del Port de Barcelona SA team since 1999, most recently serving as Director of Operations. With over two decades of experience overseeing daily port operations, leading infrastructure improvements, and supporting international expansion initiatives, he brings deep operational knowledge and proven leadership skills to his new role.
Francesc has contributed to the success of Barcelona's five cruise terminals and has supported GPH's development in strategic markets such as Malaga, Lisbon and Singapore, in addition to collaborating on future projects in the company's portfolio.
