Four Seasons and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd., co-owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, announce the appointment of Ben Trodd as Chief Executive Officer of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd., effective July 1, 2025. A trusted leader with extensive international experience in luxury hospitality, Trodd brings a combination of strategic vision, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the Four Seasons brand.
This appointment marks a key moment for Four Seasons Yachts as it prepares for its 2026 debut. With over 25 years at the company, Trodd has a wealth of operational and commercial experience, developed through roles with regional and global responsibilities. As a seasoned hotelier with a deep understanding of luxury, he has cultivated lasting relationships in both sales and operations, ideally positioning him to integrate both functions and deliver a truly unified guest experience.
“The launch of Four Seasons Yachts represents a significant milestone in our company’s history as we continue to expand our experiential luxury ecosystem through hotels, resorts, residences, the private jet experience, and now with Four Seasons Yachts,” said Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of Four Seasons. “Ben brings a rare combination of brand and luxury expertise, operational discipline, and leadership vision. He is the ideal person to lead this exciting venture, and we are delighted to welcome him back to the world of Four Seasons.”
“This is a pivotal moment for Four Seasons Yachts as we prepare to launch our first ship next year and introduce a completely new experience to the market,” adds Nadim Ashi, Founder and Co-owner of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd. “It’s the perfect time to welcome a visionary and respected leader like Ben. He understands what it takes to create a true Four Seasons experience, and I look forward to seeing him achieve it when we set sail.”
Trodd most recently served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of AMAN. Prior to that, during his extensive career at Four Seasons, he held executive positions including General Manager, Regional Vice President, and most recently, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. His deep brand knowledge and credibility within the travel and hospitality industries position him perfectly to lead at this pivotal time. In his new Miami-based role, Trodd will oversee the technical operations, planning, deployment, and sales and marketing strategies for Four Seasons Yachts. He will also be responsible for crew operations and collaboration with the construction and design partners: Fincantieri and Tillberg Design of Sweden.
With its launch planned for 2026, Four Seasons I, the first in the Four Seasons Yachts collection, will redefine luxury ocean travel, bringing the brand's legendary service and expertise to the sea. Sailing the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, it will offer 95 residential-style suites, a 1:1 guest-to-staff ratio, and Four Seasons' signature personalized service. Onboard amenities will include 11 culinary venues, a state-of-the-art transverse marina activated during "Marina Days," and wellness and spa experiences, among others.
“Four Seasons is a brand I know well and whose vision I deeply share,” Trodd said of his appointment. “Bringing the excellence in service and genuine hospitality that Four Seasons has perfected on land to the sea is an exceptional opportunity and a great honor. Our guests will know from the moment they step aboard that they are in the hands of a team that understands service at the highest level and what it takes to create unforgettable travel moments. Every moment on board will be natural, elevated, and unmistakably Four Seasons.”
Trodd began his career at Four Seasons at the brand's first European hotel, the Four Seasons London at Park Lane, and held several leadership positions throughout his career, eventually becoming Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing in 2018, where he led the strategy for introducing Four Seasons Yachts to the market.
Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, co-owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, manages the project's nautical operations, while Four Seasons is responsible for hospitality and guest experience. The construction and design of Four Seasons I is led by Fincantieri, in collaboration with Tillberg Design of Sweden and with creative direction by Prosper Assouline.
