Costa Cruises presents the new 2026 World Cruise aboard the Costa Serena, with an unprecedented itinerary spanning three continents—Asia, Oceania, and South America—for a total of 66 days, visiting 15 countries, 26 destinations, and 14 dream islands. Departure is scheduled for October 18, 2026, from Tokyo, with arrival in Buenos Aires on December 22, 2026.
The journey will begin by exploring the wonders of the Far East, where guests can discover Tokyo through tours of its iconic neighborhoods, views from Tokyo Tower, and traditional markets. In Keelung, they will experience the charm of Taipei, a blend of modernity and tradition, while in Hong Kong they will immerse themselves in the city's vibrant atmosphere with a panoramic tour among skyscrapers and temples.
Heading south, the Philippines offers an immersion in wild nature, from rainforests to coral reefs, before reaching Bali, where an overnight stopover allows you to fully enjoy the island's spirituality and beaches. In Australia, Sydney offers the spectacular Grand Pacific Drive or a visit to the famous Taronga Zoo, while Brisbane and Cairns promise authentic experiences with local wildlife, such as a visit to Hartley's Crocodile Farm.
Crossing the Pacific, guests will visit paradise islands such as Nouméa, Lifou, Suva, Tonga, Rarotonga and Tahiti, with unique cultural and natural experiences, while the Pitcairn Islands will offer a rare opportunity to meet one of the most isolated communities in the world.
The journey will culminate in South America, amidst the spectacular landscapes of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego. In San Antonio, Chile, travelers can explore Santiago's iconic landmarks or follow in the footsteps of Pablo Neruda. In Valparaíso and Viña del Mar, the colors and flavors of the Pacific will accompany travelers on their way to Ushuaia, where an overnight stopover is planned to explore the southernmost city in the world. Finally, in Puerto Madryn, they will have the opportunity to observe whales and penguins.

The Costa Serena combines elegance and sophistication, with expansive panoramic decks inspired by famous constellations. Every space on board is a visual delight that immediately puts guests in "fun mode.".
In November 2025, the Costa Serena will enter dry dock for a modernization, after which it will return to service completely renewed, with spaces and features aligned with the latest innovations introduced on other vessels.
Onboard, guests will find a vibrant new dining area with innovative restaurants and bars, including Archipelago Restaurant with menus by Michelin-starred chefs, Pizzeria Pummid'Oro, and Sushino@Costa. The main restaurants will feature a fresh, modern design, while the pools and bars will be completely redesigned. The suites will be fully renovated to offer maximum comfort and style, along with a Sunset Lounge for sunset snacks, an exclusive VIP area, and the new SOLEMIO SPA for a relaxing break.
In 2026, the Round the World cruise aboard the Costa Deliziosa will also be available, with an itinerary that crosses the Mediterranean, passes through Casablanca and the Canary Islands, and then reaches the Caribbean and South America. The journey continues to Easter Island, Fiji, and Australia, before exploring Japan, Vietnam, and Singapore.
Finally, the cruise will sail through the Maldives, Mauritius, South Africa, and Cape Verde, immersing guests in extraordinary and fascinating destinations. Departure is scheduled for November 21, 2025, from Trieste.
The 2027 edition of the World Cruise aboard the Costa Deliziosa will also include a very special itinerary to discover new destinations, including Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas (exclusive to Costa guests), the most iconic cities on the East and West coasts of the United States, the Hawaiian Islands, Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Southeast Asia and Africa.
