The world's most daring vacations are on the horizon as Royal Caribbean unveils Perfect Day Mexico with never-before-seen features. From new thrills and unparalleled ways to relax on the upcoming Perfect Day to unmatched beach getaways at the first-ever Royal Beach Clubs, the vacation brand's expanding portfolio of exclusive destinations will offer vacationers more options to experience the best of Royal Caribbean's newest ships alongside adventures on the coasts of Mexico, the Bahamas, and the South Pacific.

Spanning over 80 hectares on Mexico’s Caribbean coast, Perfect Day Mexico will elevate vacations in the fall of 2027. There’s something for every adventurer, regardless of age, with activities for all generations divided into seven neighborhoods. Highlights include:
- Loco Waterpark – Thrill-seekers can conquer more than 30 adrenaline-filled water slides through five slide towers, including the tallest water slide tower in North and South America.
- Splash Cove – The central neighborhood for guests of all ages to enjoy everything will feature the world’s longest float river, with a crazy side. Along the one-hour ride, there are multiple entry and exit points and plenty of ways to stay hydrated with swim-up bars and a cup holder on each float. And for the daring, an optional crazy section of the river features unexpected twists and turns with waves, rapids, and currents. At the center of it all is a seemingly endless pool of over 9,000 square meters. Little ones have their own adventures in Royal Caribbean’s largest Splashaway Bay, with slides just the right size for them. The first-ever Splashaway Cabanas located in the area make it the perfect setting for families.
- The Hideaway – In this adults-only neighborhood, those looking to celebrate in style can maximize the festive vibes at the new Ultimate Party Cabana for 20 guests, complete with its own pool and bar. For unparalleled relaxation, The Hideaway offers a vibrant atmosphere with live music, bars, and cabanas.
- Costa Beach Club – Featuring white sand beaches, a heated infinity pool and premium restaurants at Costa Beach Club.
- Chill Beach North and South – Vacationers seeking relaxation can enjoy the natural beauty of Mexico along more than 3 kilometers of white-sand beaches at Chill Beach, stretching from north to south from the pier. Guests can enjoy complimentary lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels at all beaches and pools of Perfect Day Mexico.
- Fiesta Plaza – Where all the festivities begin: a vibrant arrival area transports vacationers straight to the heart of Mexico with live music and dancing. Plus, the world's largest sombrero sits atop the Tipsy Sombrero bar, welcoming guests with margaritas, beers, and more.
There are 12 regionally inspired dining options, from sit-down restaurants to takeout, and nearly all of them are included with your pass. Plus, there are countless reasons to raise a glass of "¡Salud!" at 24 bars, including six poolside bars. Mariachi performances, art installations, and local artisans selling crafts and souvenirs bring Mexican culture to life.
Following its opening in fall 2027, Perfect Day Mexico will welcome Western Caribbean itineraries sailing from Galveston, New Orleans, and all Florida homeports. Perfect Day Mexico itineraries will be available for booking this fall.
To bring Perfect Day Mexico to life, Royal Caribbean continues its extensive collaboration with the government and local community to develop a modern, sustainable destination that will attract vacationers from around the world to Mexico. The port will remain open throughout all phases of the project and beyond, with a new Welcome Center being built by Royal Caribbean to familiarize guests from all visiting cruise lines with iconic attractions in the Mahahual area and provide transportation throughout the region. The development of the Perfect Day Mexico site, and the local community's infrastructure projects, are in line with parent company Royal Caribbean Group's SEA the Future commitment to deliver the best vacation experiences responsibly by sustaining the planet, energizing communities, and accelerating innovation.
Royal Caribbean visits more than 300 destinations with 28 ships, with four more on the way. Over the next three years, the vacation brand will also expand its destination portfolio to six locations, adding four exclusive destination experiences that redefine the vacation concept. Along with the revolutionary Perfect Day at CocoCay and the upcoming bold adventure, Perfect Day Mexico, Royal Caribbean's new Royal Beach Clubs will offer the ultimate beach day
- Royal Beach Club Paradise Island – Scheduled to debut in December 2025, the first Royal Beach Club of its kind in the Bahamas will combine the stunning beaches of Nassau’s Paradise Island with Royal Caribbean’s signature experiences. With the purchase of an all-inclusive day pass, vacationers can enjoy dining, drinks, and amenities, from The Floating Flamingo, the world’s largest swim-up bar, to three island-style restaurants featuring local cuisine, Bahamian art installations, and live music. Vacationers can join the official waitlist to be the first to know when reservations open in just a few weeks.
- Royal Beach Club Cozumel – With stunning beaches, swim-up bars, cabanas, snorkeling, kayaking, and more, the beach club will complement everything the island has to offer when it opens in 2026. The spirit of Mexico will be at the heart of the experience through local touches and a variety of dining and drinking options, a street market, and hands-on experiences like tequila tastings and cooking classes.
In addition to the range of experiences for any environment and mood, Royal Caribbean's private beach destinations in Labadee, Haiti and, in early 2027, Lelepa in the South Pacific, offer even more ways to enjoy paradise.
- Lelepa – Royal Caribbean brings a bold beach experience to the shores of Lelepa, an island in Vanuatu in the South Pacific archipelago, east of Australia. The first private island cruise destination in the Southern Hemisphere will offer a locally inspired experience for guests in Australia and beyond, with serene beaches, nature trails, water activities, and delicious restaurants.
In August 2025, vacationers aboard the new vacation icon, Star of the Seas, will experience the best of Royal Caribbean from start to finish with stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay and the world’s greatest family vacations. By 2027, 90% of the brand’s Caribbean vacationers will experience a Perfect Day at Perfect Day at CocoCay and Perfect Day Mexico. Additionally, vacationers sailing from Gulf ports will enjoy the ultimate vacation days starting in 2027 with Royal Caribbean itineraries that visit both Royal Beach Club Cozumel and Perfect Day Mexico.
