Explora Journeys presents its itineraries for summer 2027 with exciting new features. For this season, it has introduced unique routes with first-ever stops in the Mediterranean. In addition, it will welcome the new ship EXPLORA IV and, for the first time, will include the breathtaking and highly anticipated landscapes of Alaska, featuring EXPLORA III.
Between March and November 2027, Explora Journeys will travel through some of the most fascinating regions on the planet, inviting travelers to plan ahead and live an extraordinary experience aboard the EXPLORA I, II, III and now also IV ships.

EXPLORE IV
Explora Journeys will usher in a new era of luxury ocean travel with the launch of EXPLORA IV, powered by LNG (liquefied natural gas), the latest addition to its fleet. Featuring a sleek, contemporary design, EXPLORA IV will boast a greater number of spacious suites, conceived as tranquil havens where privacy, comfort, and a connection to the ocean are guaranteed. It will also offer one of the most generous space-per-guest ratios in the luxury cruise industry.
While EXPLORA III and IV will open new destinations during the summer of 2027, EXPLORA I and II will offer unforgettable experiences in the waters where the brand was born, celebrating the timeless beauty of the Mediterranean and revealing its best-kept secrets. With more than 60 possible itineraries, they will explore coastlines steeped in history and discover ports never before visited.
Travelers can discover the majestic Ottoman palaces of Istanbul and lose themselves in the vibrant Casbah of Algiers, stroll through charming fishing villages and along the Amalfi Cliffs, or explore archaeological treasures and pristine beaches in Olbia, Sardinia. The offering is rounded out with new ports on the Adriatic, such as Trogir in Croatia, with its medieval old town and lively waterfront, or Piran, a coastal gem in Slovenia bearing the unmistakable mark of its Venetian heritage.
Alaska: An epic destination
The addition of Alaska—with its icy blue glaciers, lush forests, and vibrant waters—to the Explora Journeys collection of destinations marks a key milestone in the brand's expansion. EXPLORA III will take travelers, for the first time, to experience Alaska's wilderness, rich culture, and exquisite local cuisine in the summer of 2027.
Departing from Vancouver, Canada, these trips offer a unique perspective of the region. From majestic rivers and wildlife to frontier towns where hiking, dog sledding, skiing, and boating allow for a profound connection with nature.
Travelers will cruise the Whale's Highway, spotting humpback whales, orcas, dolphins, and seals.
