Celestyal has launched four new 14-night repositioning cruises as part of its winter sun season in the Arabian Gulf. The itineraries include two new countries for the company, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and four inaugural calls: Aqaba in Jordan, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, Muscat in Oman, and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. They also mark the cruise line's return to Egypt after a two-year hiatus.
A new 14-night itinerary, 'From Ancient Athens to Amazing Abu Dhabi' , will be available across the two-ship fleet. The Celestyal Journey will depart Athens on November 22, 2025, calling at Port Said, with inaugural calls at Sharm El Sheikh, Aqaba, Jeddah, and Muscat, followed by Dubai, finally arriving in Abu Dhabi on December 6, 2025, just in time for the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend. The ship will then set sail on December 7 on its 'Amazing Desert & Abu Dhabi Grand Prix' itinerary , allowing guests to experience the event before embarking on the season's first 'Amazing Desert' cruise
Meanwhile, the Celestyal Discovery will depart from Athens on November 28, 2025, following the same route but with an additional stop in Kusadasi, Turkey, before its maiden arrival in Abu Dhabi on December 13, 2025. This ship will begin its inaugural winter season operating the new three-, four-, and seven-night 'Iconic Arabia' from 2025, and will be based in the Arabian Gulf for the next three years.
The two 14-night return cruises, 'From Amazing Abu Dhabi to Ancient Athens', will also be available on both ships. The Celestyal Discovery will depart Abu Dhabi on March 6, 2026, following the same return route and arriving in Athens for the summer season in Greece and the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, the Celestyal Journey will depart Abu Dhabi on March 21, 2026.
The four cruises will feature several bookable segments ranging from four to 13 nights.
The announcement comes after the return of the Celestyal Journey to Athens following a successful and extended inaugural season in the Arabian Gulf. Bookings exceeded the target for the first season by 27%, during which the ship was based in Doha, Qatar, as part of a three-year partnership with the state.
