Fincantieri and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, co-owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, celebrated the launch of Four Seasons I, the company's first ultra-luxury vessel under construction, in Ancona. Its delivery is scheduled for later this year, with its maiden voyage planned for January 2026.
The ceremony follows two events held at the end of last year, which commemorated the steel cutting and keel laying, important milestones in the ship's construction process.
The event was attended by representatives from Fincantieri, including its Chairman, Biagio Mazzotta; CEO and Managing Director, Pierroberto Folgiero; and Managing Director of the Merchant Ships Division, Luigi Matarazzo. Representing the shipowner were Nadim Ashi, owner and executive chairman of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, co-owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, and founder and CEO of Fort Partners; Prosper Assouline, creative director of Four Seasons Yachts; and Bart Carnahan, president of global business development, portfolio management, and residences at Four Seasons.
The celebratory moment culminated when a bottle of champagne was elegantly smashed against the hull of the yacht, following maritime tradition.
Fincantieri emphasized that the Four Seasons I will set a new standard of luxury at sea. With a gross tonnage of 34,000, a length of 207 meters, and 95 exquisitely designed suites, the ship's primary focus will be on eliminating the barriers between guests, the sea, and its surroundings.
Looking ahead, next year promises to be an exciting journey of discovery, with more revelations showcasing the essence of Four Seasons I in January 2026. This milestone marks the beginning of an extraordinary chapter for Four Seasons Yachts, one that is ever closer to welcoming guests on board and reinventing luxury at sea.
