The last customers have left the fleet and most of the staff on board are enjoying a well-deserved rest, and it is at this moment that CroisiEurope hands over the reins to the technical team, who take over to offer almost the entire fleet a renewal treatment.
The company will use this winter break to carry out an ambitious fleet maintenance and renewal program with the following actions:
- Replacing upholstery and carpets to achieve a refined and modern atmosphere,
- The restoration or replacement of the furniture to ensure optimal comfort and a welcoming atmosphere for future passengers,
- The addition of connected power outlets in the cabins for greater convenience and technological adaptability.
This period will also be marked by a firm commitment to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy that the company follows: two of the ships have been re-engined as part of the sustainable development plan, demonstrating the desire to reduce the ecological footprint while offering a quality travel experience.
Challenges and perspectives for 2025
The year 2025 promises to be full of challenges and opportunities for CroisiEurope, which seeks to strengthen its position through constant innovation, focusing on sustainability and improving the customer experience on board its ships. Modernizing the fleet is another step towards these ambitious goals.
But 2025 will also be marked by significant anniversaries: 10 years of Loire River cruises, 25 years of Venice cruises, and 30 years of Rhône Valley cruises. These anniversaries celebrate three decades of unforgettable discoveries and shared moments with our passengers.
To commemorate these milestones, at the beginning of next summer, the MS ELBE PRINCESSE will be renamed MS RE WAYDELICH, in homage to the Alsatian artist, inaugurating new itineraries in the magnificent Rhine, Saar, Neckar and Moselle valleys, before reaching its final destination, the Seine, in 2026. This new route through the four valleys will allow cruise passengers to discover picturesque landscapes, lush vineyards, charming medieval villages while enjoying a unique cultural experience aboard a paddlewheel boat.
In addition, iconic destinations will continue to surprise and delight passengers with exclusive offers, enriching activities, and immersive excursions, making each cruise a memorable experience. The company offers more than 10,000 guaranteed seats in Spanish for the Spanish-speaking market.
Looking to the future with enthusiasm
CroisiEurope faces this winter period with determination and enthusiasm, ready to conquer new horizons and write a new chapter in its history on the eve of its 50th anniversary in 2026. A future full of innovation, sustainability and unforgettable moments for all passengers.
