Celestyal celebrated its first stop in Dubai with a dhow escort, a plaque exchange ceremony and a star-studded party.
The event, which took place on December 9, included a fleet of dhows—traditional sailing vessels with one or two masts—escorting the flagship Celestyal Journey as it entered the harbor. This gesture symbolized the synergy between tradition and new beginnings in the region.
Later, local dignitaries, influencers, and travel agents from the region were invited aboard for an evening of entertainment and celebrations. The event featured special guests, including renowned DJ and artist Tinie (formerly known as Tinie Tempah) and DJ Charlesy.
This stop marks the beginning of the seven-day "Amazing Desert" itinerary, which departs from Dubai and visits destinations such as Khasab, Sir Bani Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Bahrain.

Celestyal's inaugural season in the Arabian Gulf will run until March 2025 and will include three consecutive winter seasons. At the end of 2025, the Celestyal Discovery will join the Celestyal Journey in the region, based in Abu Dhabi as part of another three-year partnership.
This new ship will offer three-night weekend cruises called 'Iconic Arabia', departing from Abu Dhabi and visiting Doha and Sir Bani Yas Island. It will also include four-night weekday cruises, departing from Abu Dhabi and calling at Fujairah, Muscat, and Khasab.
