The Vasco da Gama will begin its third circumnavigation of the world on November 7, 2025, concluding on May 1, 2026 in the port of Hamburg.
During its voyage, the ship will make stops in Leixões and Madeira, allowing guests to explore some of Portugal's most iconic ports before heading to exotic destinations such as the Caribbean, the South Pacific, Asia and Oceania.
At the start of the journey, the ship docks in Leixões, where travelers can enjoy the famous Port wine and the beauty of northern Portugal. Next, it heads to Madeira, known as the “Island of Flowers,” where the Botanical Garden and mild climate offer a perfect transition to the tropical destinations that await.
Aboard the Vasco da Gama, guests will visit 91 ports in 42 countries, exploring a fascinating diversity of unique destinations. The itinerary includes stops in Cape Verde, the Caribbean, Central America, the South Pacific, Oceania, and Asia, before returning to Europe via the Mediterranean.
Highlights include transiting the Panama Canal, visiting the Galapagos Islands, and stops at iconic locations such as Komodo Island in Indonesia and Machu Picchu, accessible via a land-based program. For those who prefer a shorter experience, the 112-day “mini world cruise” from Hamburg to Bali offers an exciting alternative.
The Vasco da Gama combines sophistication with personalized comfort, offering five restaurants, seven bars and lounges, two swimming pools, and a spacious spa. Cabins range from 16 to 102 square meters, including options with balconies and luxurious suites.
