Crystal, a leader in exceptional cruise experiences, today announced a formal order with renowned Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri for the construction of a third ocean-going vessel. This order is the result of an option granted under the two-ship agreement announced earlier this summer.
Like its sister ships, the new 61,800-gross-ton vessel, with a capacity for 690 passengers (based on double occupancy), will feature a wide array of amenities and innovative designs, ensuring unparalleled comfort and indulgence for guests. The interiors, designed by prestigious international architectural firms, will utilize the finest materials and craftsmanship.
A standout feature will be a promenade that runs the entire perimeter of the ship, similar to those guests already enjoy on the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, perfect for leisurely strolls with breathtaking ocean views. Food lovers can indulge in a variety of dining options, offering a selection of world-class cuisines, including Umi Uma, the only Nobu restaurant at sea, and Beefbar, the innovative concept from visionary restaurateur Riccardo Giraudi, along with dishes created in collaboration with world-renowned chefs Massimiliano and Raffaele Alajmo. Furthermore, Crystal will continue its legacy of providing exclusive entertainment with the Monte-Carlo Casino, debuting on the Crystal Symphony this month and on the Crystal Serenity in December.
The new ships will feature all suites, each with a private veranda, including a popular single-occupancy veranda category designed for solo travelers. This commitment to comfort is complemented by one of the highest crew-to-passenger ratios in the segment, ensuring personalized service and attention to detail.
