Just in time for peak orca season, Virgin Voyages will offer sailors an unforgettable journey to the forested shores of the Pacific Northwest.
Passengers on this trip will have the opportunity to spot bald eagles, seals, and humpback whales, while salmon fishing, glacier excursions, lumberjack shows, and dog sledding are just a sample of what Shore Things has to offer.
The seven- to twelve-night itineraries depart from Seattle and Vancouver, with stops in the magnificent wilderness of Alaska and the untouched Northwest of Canada.
The MerMaiden voyage (May 21-28), for example, departs from the Emerald City and spends a day sailing to Ketchikan, a picturesque town nestled within the Tongass National Forest. From there, the Brilliant Lady will dock in verdant Sitka—the iconic coastal town brimming with local culture that inspired the Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock romantic comedy "The Proposal"—and spend a day cruising up the stunning Tracy Arm Fjord. The Brilliant Lady will also dock in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, a charming coastal town offering cosmopolitan amenities, before spending a final day on its return voyage to Seattle.
The Galley, Virgin's all-inclusive dining room, features floor-to-ceiling windows so sailors don't miss a thing, while the inviting daybeds at The Athletic Club and The Dock transform into inviting outdoor viewing spots. Even The Runway, Virgin Voyages' suspended running track, can double as a viewing platform, making morning runs even more exhilarating. For foodies, the new "Treat Yourself" culinary upgrades will feature locally sourced Alaskan seafood.

Following the announcement of Brilliant Lady's North American tour, bookings for the coveted U.S. itineraries exceeded expectations. Brilliant Lady, set to debut in September 2026, will begin its inaugural season in New York, with sailings from Miami, Los Angeles, and Seattle in the following months, including a 16-night Panama Canal voyage. However, the Alaskan voyages, a highly sought-after destination, garnered the most attention.
In May 2024, members of the brand's Sailing Club—Virgin Voyages' loyalty program—had the opportunity to pre-purchase limited itineraries to Alaska, and the trips will open to the general public on November 13. In addition to Alaska, the brand is offering a seven-night itinerary from Los Angeles.
