TUI River Cruises has announced the launch of its second newly refurbished five-star ship to sail the Nile in winter 2025, following strong demand for the TUI Al Horeya sailing the Nile this winter.
TUI Bahareya will be the sixth ship to join the TUI River Cruises fleet, joining the other five adults-only vessels. The name, which means "belongs to the river" in Arabic, will offer seven-night all-inclusive round-trip cruises from Luxor with two itineraries. The ship will aim to combine cultural immersion on land with a modern, Arabian-inspired décor and onboard local experiences.
With a capacity for 136 passengers and 68 cabins, including standard cabins with French balconies and superior cabins, the ship is similar in size to the other ships in the fleet.
There will be two weekly flights from London Gatwick and Manchester to Luxor, a city known for its rich history, spectacular architecture, and culture. TUI's route will offer direct, non-stop flights to Luxor, operating weekly on Tuesdays from November 4, 2025, to April 21, 2026.

Expert Egyptologists will be available throughout the voyage to enhance the guest experience and personalize each sailing aboard the TUI Bahareya. The ship will feature a rooftop pool, a massage tent, an entertainment area, a restaurant, al fresco dining, and a boutique shop.
Like the rest of the fleet, the TUI Bahareya will include a daytime and evening entertainment program, adapted traditional onboard activities, and will offer customers a wide range of excursions selected by industry experts, which will transport visitors back in time and guarantee them unforgettable personalized experiences.
Two excursions are included in the cruise package price: the Temple of Horus at Edfu and the Temple of Kom Ombo. To ensure maximum flexibility on their cruise, a selection of excursions will be offered in Luxor, Kom Ombo, and Aswan.
The new "Ancient Gods and Famous Pharaohs" itinerary, with more daytime sailing, will set sail on November 4, 2025, and the second itinerary will be "Legends of the Nile," which will set sail on December 2, 2025, with TUI Bahareya alternating the itineraries each month.
