Regent Seven Seas Cruises has begun construction of Seven Seas Prestige™, the ship that transcends luxury, with the ship's steel-cutting ceremony taking place at the Fincantieri-Marghera shipyard in Venice, Italy.

Along with Andrea DeMarco, President of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, those attending the ceremony included Harry Sommer, President and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd; Patrik Dahlgren, Executive Vice President of Ship Operations at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd; Francesco Semeraro, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations at Regent Seven Seas Cruises; and Alberico Trivellone, Senior Vice President of New Builds and Refurbishments at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.
Built by the legendary Fincantieri shipyard, the Seven Seas Prestige will boast one of the highest space-to-passenger ratios in the cruise industry, with a gross tonnage of 77,000 and a capacity of up to 850 passengers. The ship will introduce innovations to be announced soon, including a reimagined Regent Suite, new accommodation categories, new dining experiences, and much more.
The vessel, scheduled for delivery in 2026, will be the first of two Prestige-class ships, Regent's first new class in 10 years, following the successful Explorer-class ships launched in 2016, 2020 and 2023, also built by Fincantieri.
Sailing to more than 550 destinations worldwide, the company offers a wide range of luxuries for guests to enjoy a pampered trip with unlimited shore excursions included, gourmet cuisine in specialty restaurants and outdoor venues, wines and spirits, in-suite liquor and daily restocked mini-bar, entertainment, access to spa facilities, unlimited WiFi, laundry service, gratuities, and a pre-cruise hotel night in concierge suites and above, all as part of the all-inclusive cruise fare.
