MSC Cruises extends its entertainment program to its entire fleet, offering passengers the opportunity to break official Guinness World Records titles through a series of activities.
This games and contests program was introduced on two of the cruise company's ships, MSC Seascape and MSC World Europa, in March of last year and is currently available on 12 ships, although it will be extended to the entire MSC Cruises fleet during the next year.
Steve Leatham, Vice President of Entertainment at MSC Cruises, said: “The program has been hugely popular with passengers, both adults and children. To date, MSC Cruises guests and crew have broken 30 Guinness World Records. From being the fastest to pull 100 meters (roughly the length of a football field) of rope, to beating the fastest time to complete 20 chair rotations in under 21 seconds, or putting on the most pairs of socks on one foot in under 30 seconds, passengers have achieved world record-breaking glory in different and original ways.”

While cruising, passengers can take part in record-breaking activities during the day and, at night, audition for the big evening show, where lucky finalists can demonstrate their talent and aspire to become the next holder of an iconic record.
An official Guinness World Records judge will verify the new records and award them a certificate, allowing them to boast about their achievements and create incredible memories.
To date, the program is available on 12 ships worldwide: MSC World Europa, MSC Euribia, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Virtuosa, MSC Seashore, MSC Seascape, MSC Divina, and MSC Magnifica. MSC Belissima, MSC Seaside, and MSC Splendida are the latest ships to offer it.
