The Mindelo Cruise Terminal, which is now in its final phase of construction, is located in one of the most beautiful bays in the world, Porto Grande on the island of São Vicente, the largest port in Cape Verde, which has maintained its tradition of serving navigation, becoming an increasingly important cruise stop in the Mid-Atlantic.
The Terminal, whose completion is scheduled for the end of this year, has a 400-meter berth and a depth of up to 11 meters, with the capacity to accommodate two ships at the same time and an area of about 900 m² to receive and attend to cruise passengers, as well as an area dedicated to administrative services.
The Mindelo Cruise Terminal is an innovative, modern, technically advanced and sustainable project that will contribute to the decarbonization of port operations.
The project is co-financed by the ORIO Fund of the Netherlands and the OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) Fund for International Development.
