The cruise ship will be docked in the heart of Monaco's famous Port Hercules, offering a prime location throughout the week of the exciting race.
EXPLORA II will host a series of events for its passengers, who, in addition to enjoying perfect accommodations over the weekend, will have a unique experience at the iconic race where cars race through the famous streets of Monte Carlo at top speed in the most glamorous event on the F1 calendar. All of this is complemented by a vibrant nightlife, the stunning French Riviera, and the famous Monte Carlo Casino, among other options.
Passengers aboard EXPLORA II will be able to enjoy the Monaco Grand Prix, as the ship will be located just 150 meters from the racetrack, acting as a luxury boutique hotel at sea and offering travelers maximum comfort and innovative design. Elegant suites with private oceanfront terraces will accommodate fans of the event, while 12 bars and lounges will offer a variety of unlimited premium drinks. Prior to the FORMULA 1 event, the 2025 MONACO GRAND PRIX, the Explora Journeys brand will be present at the main FORMULA 1® events.
Between 2023 and 2028, Explora Journeys plans to have a fleet of six ships, of which EXPLORA I and the recently christened EXPLORA II are already in operation. EXPLORA II will be responsible for offering this Formula 1 experience in Monaco. EXPLORA III will enter service in 2026 and EXPLORA IV in 2027, both powered by LNG. EXPLORA V and EXPLORA VI are scheduled to enter service in 2027 and 2028, respectively, completing the fleet.
