Celestyal has unveiled details of the shore excursion program for its new "Iconic Arabia" itineraries for 2025. This follows the recent announcement that both ships will operate the winter season in the Arabian Gulf from 2025, with the Celestyal Journey based in Doha from November of this year, and the Celestyal Discovery joining its fleetmate and based in Abu Dhabi the following year.
Three- and four-night round-trip cruises from Mina Zayed, Abu Dhabi, are available from December 2025 to February 2026, and from December 2026 to February 2027.
The three-night option visits the ports of Doha (Qatar) and Sir Bani Yas Island (UAE) and offers 25 shore excursions that can now be booked, while the four-night option includes Fujairah (UAE), Muscat and Khasab (Oman), with 34 excursions available.
The program offers a range of half-day and full-day options and includes seven of the cruise lines' premium "Authentic Encounters," which provide unique experiences with local people and attractions, with limited group sizes of up to 12 passengers.
The three-night program "Iconic Arabia" includes:
– Get closer to nature – guests can immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Sir Bani Yas Island Arabian Wildlife Park. Half-day excursion
-Off-road excursion to an inland sea – traverse the desert and behold Doha's unique inland sea.
-Art, culture, and afternoon tea – Guests can explore the architecture and vibrant exhibits of Katara Cultural Village, followed by a delicious afternoon tea. Half-day excursion
– Explore Abu Dhabi's icons – a cultural immersion into the city's architectural wonders, including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Qasr Al Watan Palace. Half day
– The ultimate F1 Grand Prix experience – motorsport fans can enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Yas Marina Circuit. Half day
The four-night program 'Iconic Arabia' includes:
– Fujairah and Khorfakkan Traditions – Guests will experience local culture and traditions firsthand on this “Authentic Encounter” tour, which includes the House of Bait Sheikh Saeed bin Hamad Al Qasimi, the Sheikh Zayed Mosque of Fujairah, and the Fujairah Fort Museum. Full-day tour
– Snorkeling with turtles – an authentic encounter with Fujairah's vibrant marine life. Half day
– Discover, connect, and cook in Muscat – Guests will enjoy a culinary journey, visiting the Muttrah fish market, the local women's association "Sidab Women Seamstresses Group," and participating in a cooking class at the National Institute of Hospitality. Half day
– Flying Fox Zip Line – Adventurers can test their courage in Khasab on this “Authentic Encounter,” soaring over breathtaking landscapes on the world’s longest overwater zip line. Half day

The "Iconic Arabia" itinerary can be booked for three nights or four nights, and includes dinner on board, select drinks with meals, and a discount per person for advance purchase of shore excursions.
