Cordelia Cruises chooses WMS to provide wireless connectivity services
Indian cruise company Cordelia Cruises has selected remote wireless connectivity provider WMS to provide mobile phone services to passengers, crew and operations on its ship Empress.
The partnership will allow Cordelia Cruises to offer mobile connectivity to passengers and crew, enabling them to communicate and work during their cruise.
“This agreement has laid the foundation for innovation in communications for cruise passengers in India,” said Jurgen Bailom, President and CEO of Cordelia Cruises. “As the country’s only premium cruise line, it is essential to enable connectivity through the best wireless network, services, and support available today. We truly appreciate the value and customer focus that WMS brings through this new partnership.”
WMS launched its first wireless network for cruise ships in 2004, and now provides cellular services at sea to 25 cruise lines and more than 200 ships through over 400 roaming partners.
