Cruise Saudi has announced its participation in the United Nations Global Compact, which promotes sustainable and socially responsible business practices.
By adhering to the United Nations Global Compact, the company commits to integrating its Ten Principles, which cover human rights, labor, the environment and the fight against corruption, into its strategy, culture and operations.
Lars Clasen, CEO of Cruise Saudi, stated: “By joining the United Nations Global Compact, Cruise Saudi demonstrates its commitment to our global society and the environment on which we depend. We are delighted to join more than 20,000 companies worldwide that share our vision, and we hope this movement can drive positive change.”
In addition, Cruise Saudi will participate in collaborative projects that support the broader United Nations development goals, especially its 17 Sustainable Development Goals aimed at addressing climate change and eliminating poverty.
Launched in July 2000, the United Nations Global Compact is a voluntary initiative that encourages companies around the world to adopt and report on sustainable and socially responsible policies.
