Aroya Cruises, part of Cruise Saudi, has renamed its first ship, the former World Dream, now called Aroya.
Dr. Joerg Rudolph, President of Aroya Cruises, stated: “We are delighted to have officially renamed our first Aroya Cruises ship Aroya. The name evokes the passion for travel and the excitement that passengers feel from the moment they step on board. We eagerly anticipate its launch in December 2024. Aroya introduces a very modern new way of vacationing to the Arab world.”
The ship, with a capacity for 3,362 passengers, will initially sail through the Red Sea, with itineraries of three to seven nights, and the launch date is planned for the end of this year.
Destinations include a private Saudi island, Aqaba (Jordan), Sharm el Sheikh and Ain Sokhna (Egypt).
Currently undergoing renovation, the Aroya will feature 15 restaurants serving local and international cuisine, 20 entertainment venues, a theater, and a spa.
