The Mitsui Ocean Fuji 's first 2025 World Cruise has been replaced by new itineraries from April to July through Japan and the rest of Asia.
Mitsui Ocean Cruises unveiled its new itineraries for April to July 2025, including the “Grand Asia” and Golden Week departures.
These itineraries replace the planned World Cruise for the new Mitsui Ocean Fuji ship (currently sailing as the Seabourn Odyssey) due to safety concerns in the Suez Canal area.
The new offering includes 8- to 12-day itineraries between April and May, while the 66-day “Grand Asia” will sail from mid-May to mid-July.
Spring Cruises
The eight-day “Yeosu Spring Cruise” departs from Yokohama on April 10 with stops in Yeosu, Nagasaki and Ibusuki.
The “Jeju Spring Cruise”, also an eight-day round trip to Yokohama, begins on April 17 and makes stops in Jeju, Hakata and Sukumo.
The “Golden Week Cruise”, a 12-day round trip to Yokohama, departs on April 24 and visits Ofunato, Hakodate, Aomori, Miyazu, Hamada and the Korean city of Busan.
The nine-day “ UNESCO World Heritage Sites Spring Cruise ” departs from Yokohama on May 5 with stops in Hofu, Sasebo, Yeosu, Shimonoseki and Toba
Greater Asia
The “Grand Asia Cruise” includes 24 ports in 10 countries and regions, with overnight stops in iconic destinations such as Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Laem Chabang, Singapore and Darwin.
It also operates round trip to Yokohama and other destinations are Kobe, Ishigaki, Ha Long Bay, Danang, Sihanoukville, Samui, Melaka, Penang, Langkawi, Phuket, Port Klang, Benoa, Komodo, Makassar, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Kaohsiung, Keelung and Naha.
The new cruises will be available for booking starting in August.
The Mitsui Ocean Fuji, with capacity for 452 passengers and all suites, is scheduled to debut in Yokohama on December 1.
