The Sea Cloud ship is 109 meters long and offers its passengers; the shipping agent is the Pérez y Cía. Group.

This is the first cruise ship stop that the Port of Huelva has received this season, whose visits are concentrated between the months of April and June, as well as in the period between September and October.

After remaining docked at the South Levante Dock since early morning, the luxury sailboat is scheduled to depart on the afternoon of April 20th for the Port of Motril (Granada).

The cruise ship passengers have arranged various excursions to the city, including visits to the Columbus Monument and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Ribbon. They also plan to visit the Monastery of La Rábida (Palos de la Frontera) and a winery in Bollullos Par del Condado.

The president of the Port of Huelva, Alberto Santana, will welcome tomorrow the captain of this sailboat, which after visiting the port of Huelva in April of 2022, will return to the port of Huelva tomorrow.

Santana has highlighted that “from the Port of Huelva we continue to promote the arrival of cruise ships, belonging to the 'luxury' sector, to the Levante Dock, with the aim that cruise passengers can enjoy the range of services and leisure activities that the city offers, as well as contribute to boosting the local economy.”

Santana also thanked the shipping company Sea Cloud Cruises for its commitment to visiting the Port of Huelva, as another ship from this company, the Sea Cloud Spirit, one of the largest sailing ships in the world, which also visited the Port of Huelva last year, is scheduled to arrive this year.

The reception of cruise ships at the Port of Huelva is planned within the framework of the Huelva Cruise Network, a working group led by the Port of Huelva and the Association for the Commercial Promotion of the Port of Huelva (HuelvaPort), which also includes the Huelva Chamber of Commerce, the Huelva Federation of Businessmen (FOE), the Huelva City Council, the Huelva Destination Agency dependent on the Provincial Council of Huelva, the Andalusian Regional Government and tourism companies, among other entities.
