Oceania Vista arrives in Valencia with new onboard experiences for 2024

Oceania Cruises arrives in Valencia presenting a series of experiences for its Mediterranean itineraries throughout 2024. And it wants to do so within the framework of the stops in Spain of its newest ship, Oceania Vista.

Oceania Vista

To that end, Valencia welcomed the arrival of the Oceania Vista on April 17th, where some members of the media were able to board and experience the latest and most innovative ship in the fleet, and sample the menu designed by Oceania Cruises' two Maîtres Cuisiniers de France: chefs Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale. Both were recently appointed Executive Culinary Directors for the line.

The first of the Allura Class has a capacity for 1200 passengers in double occupancy and features all suites with veranda, with a ratio of two crew members for every three guests.

The 8 bars and cocktail areas and the 11 gastronomic points, with the already legendary restaurants Polo Grill, Toscana or Ginger Red, are joined by a fantastic Aquamar Kitchen and the Aquamar Spa-Wellness Center with direct terrace and thermal treatment area.

One of the culinary novelties is the Ember restaurant, a place decorated in the style of New York's Soho with a relaxed character and where you can taste the most classic dishes of New England, such as clam chowder, Maine lobster and sirloin steak.

Both Vista and its sibling Allura, scheduled for summer 2025, feature several unique firsts in the areas of dining, accommodation and guest experience.

Building on Oceania Cruises' culinary tradition and reputation for serving the finest cuisine at sea, the Vista also offers a new and creative cocktail program, as well as new and exclusive onboard culinary concepts.

In addition, with its "Simply MORE" proposal, it offers new guests greater value on their chosen cruise, with everything they want included in their travel fare and incorporating a credit of up to $1,600 for shore excursions.

It's worth remembering that Oceania Cruises offers more than 8,000 immersive, educational and unique tour options in its more than 600 ports of call.

Travelers can choose to explore iconic cities, lesser-known treasures, and tranquil islands on the same voyage thanks to the line's destination-intensive itineraries.

One of the most in-demand new offerings is the Go Green Tours, excursions that focus on sustainability, as well as the Culinary Discover Tours, excursions geared towards food lovers and designed by world-renowned gastronomic experts.

Thus, the new itineraries from cities such as Rome, Barcelona, Lisbon, Athens, and London have been meticulously designed and will be aboard the ships Marina, Riviera, Regata, Nautica, Sirena, and the newest ship, launched just a year ago, Vista. The itineraries range from 7 days to 59 days for one of the so-called "Grand Voyages" from Miami to Rome.

Numerous Spanish ports have been chosen for this Grand Voyage, which set sail on March 27, 2024. After visiting Jost Van Dyke, Roseau, Bridgetown, and Porto Grande, the Oceania Sirena will stop in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and Arrecife, just before departing for Morocco, Gibraltar, and Portugal, continuing on to the United Kingdom, and returning to Spain via Bilbao and A Coruña.

After visiting Porto and Tangier, he will visit Almería, Alicante, Barcelona, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca and Mahón, before continuing on to the French Riviera and the Italian Tuscany.

According to Juan Rodero, CEO of StarClass/Un Mundo de Cruceros: “Thanks to its mix of global itineraries, Spanish travelers who choose Oceania can select from classic summer itineraries in the Mediterranean or Northern Europe, to more exotic off-season destinations in Asia, South America, Japan, or Australia. All of them offer the best culinary experience available on a cruise line.”
