Princess Cruises is giving a gastronomic makeover on board its ships, introducing three table service options: Traditional, Reservable, or Walk-in.

Each ship in the fleet will have separate dining rooms for these options: one for traditional table service, another with a reservationable time slot, and a third for those who prefer to dine without an appointment at any time of day.
This new approach is combined with OceanNow, allowing guests to order food anytime, anywhere on board. Princess aims to cater to all its passengers' culinary preferences.
The initiative, successfully tested on the new Sun Princess, will be expanded to all ships starting April 15, 2024. To facilitate the transition, main dining room reservations will be canceled starting September 14, 2024, excluding the Sun Princess.
Passengers will be able to choose a traditional or flexible seat from June 17th, using the Princess app before their trip.
This change will not affect reservations at specialty restaurants or at suite or reserve collection accommodations, which have exclusive dining rooms without the need for a reservation.
