Princess Cruises expands its Sanctuary Collection to five Royal-class ships

Princess Cruises is expanding its premium Sanctuary Collection experience to five Royal-class ships, aiming to offer more passengers a more exclusive and personalized vacation experience on board.

Princess Cruises expands its Sanctuary Collection to five Royal-class shipsInitially introduced on the Sun Princess and Star Princess ships, the Sanctuary Collection includes a selection of suites and staterooms, access to private spaces, exclusive dining, personalized service, and a suite of premium services included during the cruise.

The expansion will begin with the Royal Princess and will later extend to the Discovery Princess, Enchanted Princess, Regal Princess, and Sky Princess. This initiative is the first phase of a multi-year fleet modernization program focused on enhancing the passenger experience.

“Sanctuary Collection has quickly become one of the most distinctive and sought-after ways to experience Princess,” said Gus Antorcha, president of Princess Cruises. He explained that the expansion will allow more travelers to enjoy the privacy, personalized service, and amenities of a luxury resort, without sacrificing the destinations, entertainment, and options that a Princess cruise offers.

Exclusive spaces and gastronomy inspired by destinations

The enhanced Sanctuary Collection experience will include access to the Sanctuary Club, a private space designed for relaxation and socializing, with quiet areas, lounges, and personalized service.

The club will also feature a dedicated pool area, designed for greater privacy and tranquility. It will offer upgraded sun loungers, shaded cabanas (available at an additional cost), and poolside food and beverage service.

The culinary offering will include the Sanctuary Restaurant, an exclusive restaurant with an intimate atmosphere and menus inspired by the destinations visited by Princess Cruises.

Premium cabins and personalized services

Sanctuary Collection will include a selection of suites and cabins, including new outside cabins with ocean views, accompanied by additional amenities both in the accommodation and on the ship's facilities.

Passengers staying in the Sanctuary Suites will have a dedicated concierge to help them arrange restaurant reservations, entertainment activities, and other onboard services.

In addition, those who book this category, once sales open on each ship, will receive the Princess Premier package, the company's most comprehensive. It includes unlimited premium beverages, access to specialty restaurants and casual dining options, high-speed Wi-Fi, crew gratuities, complimentary room service, and deliveries through OceanNow, among other amenities.

The experience will be enhanced with priority access and bookings, curated cabin amenities, tailored daily programming, and dedicated attention throughout the journey.

Passengers staying in suites will also have access to a private suite lounge, designed as a space to relax, have a snack and receive personalized assistance from the concierge team.

These services will be combined with access to the general offering of restaurants, entertainment, activities and excursions on each ship.

Booking calendar and initial itineraries

Reservations for the Royal Princess's Sanctuary Collection staterooms will open on October 22, 2026. The first scheduled sailing will be a 12-day South Pacific cruise, departing on January 4, 2027.

Passengers who booked a Reserve Collection stateroom on this ship before October 22, 2026 will receive the Sanctuary Collection experience and advertised additional amenities at no extra cost, with the exception of the Princess Premier package.

Reservations for the other four ships will open in stages:

  • Regal Princess: from November 5, 2026, with a transatlantic cruise from Port Everglades departing on April 17, 2027.

  • Discovery Princess: starting December 4, 2026, with a seven-day itinerary through Mexico, round trip from Los Angeles, departing on April 24, 2027.
