Royal Caribbean International joins Make-A-Wish in a multi-year agreement to provide experiences for children with critical illnesses.

The cruise company, with its Wishes at Sea program, aims to contribute to the non-profit organization's efforts by raising funds and donating in-kind contributions of Royal Caribbean's most impactful asset: memorable family experiences.
In addition to making online donations, travelers will soon be able to help raise awareness and funds while creating memories during their vacations on the cruise line's ships and private destinations. The range of activities will include Walk for Wishes, 5-kilometer walks and hikes, auctions of exclusive experiences, and more.
“The memories we create with our families and friends on vacation are among the most special and impactful moments, and for Make-A-Wish children and their families, that same impact can change the course of their lives,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International.
“We are thrilled and honored to partner with Make-A-Wish for the next few years. This collaboration allows us to do what we love: create memorable vacations while making a difference in the lives of those at the heart of Royal Caribbean—the families who need it most“.
The adventures that await will be packed with everything, from the ultimate experience at the cruise line's private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay, which includes access to the most exciting water park in the Caribbean and the Bahamas, a private cabana, and a high-flying experience in the Up, Up & Away helium balloon. Plus, VIP treatment with exclusive experiences, free Wi-Fi, private FlowRider sessions, and more.
“We are celebrating World Wish Month, and we are grateful to partner with Royal Caribbean International and open up a sea of new opportunities for us to fulfill our mission of granting life-changing wishes,” said Leslie Motter, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America.
“We know that a wish can chart a new course in the lives of these children, and we hope to have the opportunity to work together to achieve that life-changing impact“.
