Queen Anne: New shopping experience and gallery of curiosities

Cunard will offer new shopping experiences that await guests aboard the Queen Anne.

Queen Anne Cunnard
Cunard will offer a collection of 115 brands that will be present on board, from luxury watchmaker Bremont to the beauty division of French fashion house Chanel.

In addition, 27 of these brands are collaborating with Cunard for the first time, including Hugo Boss, Raishma, Chapel Down, Whittard, and 886 Royal Mint. Garrard, the UK's first official jeweler to the Crown, will also have its first boutique aboard a Cunard ship.

The Queen Anne will also usher in a new era of retail at sea. Walpole is the official body for the British luxury sector, and Cunard became a member in 2019.

The onboard experience

From light-filled boutiques overlooking the sea that house jewelry, clothing, accessories and gifts to curated collections of pre-owned accessories from renowned designers.

The Grand Hall Boutiques are where passengers will find the first Garrard high jewelry boutique at sea, as well as the Queen Anne's Cabinet of Curiosities and Experience Room.

The Cabinet of Curiosities is a new concept featuring 38 display cases, with selected treasures from various luxury brands, celebrating the style and intrigue of travel.

This gallery will showcase a 360-degree exhibition of collectibles, jewelry, fashion, and art from Cunard's partner brands, such as Chanel and Bremont.

Another element of the Queen Anne's commercial offering is the Experience Lounge, a space where retail is combined with food and drink.

There will also be a Shopping Host, the only one of its kind in the Cunard fleet. This personal shopping advisor will have extensive knowledge of the available stock, as well as the histories of the brands.

In addition, there will be a personalization counter available for customers who wish to add a personal touch to their purchases through engravings, embossing, etc.

Queen Anne

Throughout its inaugural season, the Queen Anne will sail from Southampton on itineraries around the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, the Canary Islands and the Norwegian Fjords, visiting more than 60 destinations in 16 countries.

Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, said: “Luxury sea travel is about escaping and immersing yourself in a world full of unique and enriching experiences. It’s a philosophy we are passionate about bringing to life with our new Queen Anne, and that’s why we are all so excited about her high-end commercial offering.”

“Nowhere else will travelers find such a well-curated collection of luxury brands at sea, or learn about heritage brands in such an engaging way as with the Queen Anne’s Cabinet of Curiosities“.
