With the intention of offering the best in live music, Holland America is implementing improvements across its fleet to meet the expectations of its passengers.

According to Michael Smith, senior vice president of guest experience and product development at Holland America Line, “the changes being made in the coming months are aimed at strengthening the musical experience for guests, whether on short cruises to destinations like Alaska or on Grand Voyages of more than 70 days.”

Among the highlights is the partnership with Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, bringing high-quality shows to the main stage on all ships.

In addition, a band will be introduced in the Ocean Bar on several ships, as well as the new Rolling Stone Lounge offering an expanded musical experience that includes R&B, rock and pop.

These improvements add to other music venues on board the Holland America fleet, such as BB King's Blues Club, Billboard Onboard and Rolling Stone Rock Room.

With these innovations, Holland America reaffirms its commitment to offering its passengers an unparalleled live music experience during their voyages at sea.
