Holland America Line will feature four new “Legendary Voyages”, including a 45-day round-trip cruise from New York to the Mediterranean and a unique 28-day exploration of the South Pacific islands.
As travelers' interest in longer cruises grows, these region-focused voyages, launching in 2025 and early 2026, offer guests the opportunity to foster deeper experiences.
Departing on October 7, 2025, the legendary 45-day “Ultimate Mediterranean & Atlantic Passage” voyage aboard the Volendam is a special round-trip journey from New York across the Mediterranean, inspired by a voyage undertaken by the company 100 years ago.
Guests will visit 20 ports in Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Tunisia, Malta, Greece, Turkey, and Egypt. They will spend the night in Civitavecchia (Rome) (Italy), Istanbul (Turkey), and Alexandria (Cairo) (Egypt). Guests will enjoy late departures from Gibraltar (United Kingdom), Barcelona (Spain), Istanbul, and Alexandria.

Cruise passengers who enjoy relaxing days at sea combined with visits to some of the world's most beautiful islands have two Legendary Voyages to choose from in 2025 and 2026:
The 27-day Legendary Voyage “Pacific Crossing” South aboard the Noordam departs on October 12, 2025, sailing from Seattle, Washington, to Sydney. The ship will cross hemispheres, visiting nine ports in the Pacific Ocean, including four in the island nation of Fiji. An overnight stay and a late departure from Honolulu, Hawaii, will allow more time to experience the city’s culture, cuisine, and history.
Legendary Voyage 36-day “South Pacific Crossing” aboard the Noordam sets sail on March 15, 2026. Sailing from Sydney to Seattle, the ship explores 17 ports in New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, Tahiti, the Cook Islands and Hawaii, with overnight stays in Papeete (Tahiti) and Honolulu, plus late departures from Honolulu and Kona (Hawaii).
The four new Legendary Journeys join the eight previously announced itineraries offered in 2025 and 2026.

- Legendary 35-day Voyage “Hawaii, Tahiti and Marquesas”. Departure February 14, 2026; round trip to San Diego aboard the Nieuw Amsterdam.
