MSC Cruises will have a new home port for the MSC Seascape in the United States in Galveston, Texas, on the southern coast of the USA.
From November 2025, this port will become the starting point for MSC Seascape, consolidating its position as MSC Cruises' fourth home port in the United States.
The company has opened sales for year-round departures from this port, offering seven-night itineraries with embarkation every Sunday. Guests can enjoy sailing to Caribbean destinations, including Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico, and Roatán Island in Honduras. The first departure is scheduled for November 9, 2025.
At this important milestone in its expansion across the United States, Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, commented: “This announcement is the latest step in our strategy to continue growing in the United States. Earlier this year, we began operating from our third US homeport, in New York, where we now sail year-round. The MSC Seascape elevates the family experience onboard with nearly 700 square meters of dedicated children's facilities and a variety of entertainment options. Passengers can enjoy the state-of-the-art ROBOTRON attraction, two LEGO rooms designed for children aged 3 to 6 and 7 to 11, three exclusive spaces for teenagers, a 360° VR flight simulator, virtual reality motorcycles, and the MSC Formula Racer.
MSC Cruises also offers a wide range of shore excursions to coastal destinations and culturally significant sites. Options include visits to ancient Mayan ruins, snorkeling experiences, glass-bottom boat tours, and exploration of local museums.

- Costa Maya, Mexico – Home to the ancient Mayan ruins of Chacchoben and Kohunlich, offers passengers the chance to explore 4,000 years of history through guided tours from the ocean to the jungle. On the Jaguar Truck Experience, adventurers can immerse themselves in nature as they traverse the rainforest, culminating in an open-air exploration of a Mexican cenote.
- Roatán Island – Off the coast of Honduras lies Roatán Island, a virtually untouched island known for its coral reef. Visitors will find white sand beaches, snorkeling excursions among shipwrecks, and glass-bottom boat tours.
- Cozumel, Mexico – World-renowned for its diving excursions, Cozumel offers snorkeling trips through an ancient Mayan cave, glass-bottom kayaking and snorkeling, and close-up, personal encounters with dolphins, manatees, and other wildlife. For those seeking an educational experience, city tours and visits to nearby Mayan ruins are available.
