Azamara has officially begun its first Round the World Cruise aboard the Azamara Onward, marking the start of a 155-night journey.
Yesterday, the World Cruise Welcome Party took place at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, bringing together guests from around the world before the ship officially sets sail today.
Cruise Director Eric De Gray hosted the evening, welcoming both loyal guests and newcomers to Azamara. Chief Financial Officer Alain Ferzli also addressed the crowd on behalf of the entire Azamara team, expressing their excitement and gratitude to the World Cruisers.
Over the next five months, the Azamara Onward will visit more than 40 countries across six continents with Extended Destination Days, including 22 overnight stays and 27 nights in port, giving travelers ample time to thoroughly explore the rich culture and history of each destination.
The 2024 World Cruise also features 11 AzAmazing and three exclusive World Cruise events, designed to provide a great guest experience.
Cruise passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy local extravagance and entertainment during a full-day visit to the Taj Mahal and witness a unique performance in Istanbul's (Turkey) second largest underground cistern, among other captivating experiences.
