Norwegian Prima has arrived at the Port of Galveston in Texas for its first official season since its launch in 2022.

The Norwegian Prima began its inaugural season in the Lone Star State on Friday and settled into its new home port of Galveston, Texas, for the 2023-2024 cruise season.
The ship will offer seven-day round-trip cruises in the Caribbean, including stops at Harvest Caye (Belize), Costa Maya and Cozumel (Mexico) and Roatán (Bay Islands) (Honduras).
In addition, the Norwegian Prima's sister ship, the Norwegian Viva, will dock in Galveston, Texas, for the first time from December 2025 to April 2026.
“We are very excited that the Norwegian Prima will officially set sail from Galveston, Texas, this season, as we are committed to listening to our guests’ feedback and providing them with more opportunities to cruise from popular and easily accessible ports,” said David J. Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise Line.
“As we see the value of sailing from this destination and seek to strengthen our presence, we are proud to bring two of our fleet's most innovative ships to the great state of Texas, offering dream cruise vacations not only to the immediate market but also to the surrounding driving markets.”
