Explora Journeysoffers in its Christmas program a holiday aboard the first of its ships, the Explora I, with the Caribbean as the destination.
Between December 22 and 29, 2023, the Explora I will make a 7-night tour departing from Miami and arriving in San Juan (Puerto Rico) to visit destinations such as Key West, the southernmost point of Florida, or Deshaies, on the coast of Guadeloupe.
And from December 29 to January 5, 2024, guests will spend New Year's aboard a 7-night cruise sailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Miami, with stops in St. Maarten, St. Kitts and Nevis or Martinique.
Entertainment
On board the Explora I, guests can participate in a variety of activities and entertainment. These range from putting up Christmas decorations and horseback riding for children, to lectures by explorer David Liman or creativity workshops led by psychologist and psychiatrist Bob Bilder for adults.
Guests can also enjoy performances by the musical trio Roxx, instrumental wizard Adam Barry, and comedian Andrew Grose. Additionally, the ship's Steinway Spirio pianos will play a selection of Christmas carols.
On Christmas Eve they will offer a gala dinner and on Christmas Day, the Fil Rouge will serve an international menu of classic Christmas dishes.
Travelers embarking on the New Year's cruise will have the opportunity to enjoy speakers such as writer Ken Schmidt or former combat helicopter pilot Sarah Furness.
Also on board will be Steinway pianist Francesco Parrino, along with the musical duo Nina Sky. The evening will conclude with a New Year's Eve gala and a masked ball.
