Princess Cruises announced festive experiences aboard its fleet, including new cocktails and menus, as well as new holiday decorations.
“Princess truly delivers a holiday spectacle, creating a warm ambiance that feels like the perfect home away from home for our guests to simply relax and enjoy all the distinctive moments of the season, without the stress of entertainment,” said Sami Kohen, Vice President of Food and Beverage at Princess Cruises.
“From new specialty cocktails or hot cocoa to favorite holiday movies and even a tree lighting ceremony with falling snow, it's easy to get into the holiday spirit at sea with Princess.”
Guests sailing on Princess holiday voyages will be able to enjoy a special cocktail such as the Autumn Elixir, the Charm with Pecan and the Pumpkin Spice Martini.
In addition, thanks to the cruise line's new partnership with The Macklowe Whiskey, the premium spirit will be available on menus in time for the holiday sailings.
Princess Cruises has also prepared a series of holiday festivities that include:
- Holiday Wishes Variety Show
- Hanukkah and Menorah Lighting Services
- Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest
- Lighting Ceremony
- Family gingerbread house building contest, judged by the Executive Chef, Pastry Chef, Captain, and Entertainment Director
- Family Christmas movie nights, with “Elf”, “A Christmas Carol” and “The Grinch”.
- Christmas carols in the square
- Santa's arrival and gift delivery
- Breakfast in pajamas with Stanley
- Children's reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas"
- Interfaith religious services, led by invited volunteers or fellow passengers
Princess's Christmas itineraries for 2023 include:
- 15-day cruise through Southeast Asia and Japan aboard the Diamond Princess, departing on December 1, 2023;
- 15-day cruise through the Hawaiian Islands aboard the Discovery Princess, departing on December 4, 2023;
- Seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruise with Puerto Rico aboard the Caribbean Princess.
